A few years ago now I was very successful in losing weight through the Michelle bridges 12 Week Body Transformation I lost about 32kilos and it truly changed a lot of things in my life! The weight loss part was awesome but the best thing that came from it was the people I met through the program, the confidence with in myself, the awesome experiences and the positive impact it had on my mental health. I also ended up changing career paths I have been working in the fitness industry for 2 years now which I absolutely love! I was able to maintain my success. Which gives me hope that I can have/feel this again!!

Over the past year and a half I've noticed my body start to change it started with heavy bleeding, blood clots and cramping during my periods every single month with out fail to the point where I needed to run to the toilet, have felt depressed again noticing I would feel down and scattered for 3 week of the month and only 1 week in the month where I actually feel good, more acne and my weight has creped up, these are just some of the changes I noticed well the ones that annoy me the most!!

But about  2 months ago I hit my breaking point the depression just got worse and I started to get really bad anxiety I hadn't had an anxiety attack in a very long time and it freaked me out that I was feeling like this again!! The bleeding was still the same pretty much everything mentioned above was getting worse! I couldn't handle it anymore.

So I made the decision to finally get help, I went to the doctors. I explained everything that was going on! I got blood tests done and ultrasound. Blood tests pointed straight away to PCOS as my hormones levels weren't normal they were out of wack the doctor then gave me a referral for a unltrasound, results showed I have cyst in my ovaries and a bit of endometriosis.

I've was reffered to a gynaecologist next steps are to get another blood test during the 2nd day of my periods, also start on contraceptive and then repeat ultrasound 😑
I also have appointments to see a physiologist and endocrinologist appointment is in July anyone think it's worth it? And a referral to see dietician and exercise physiologist.

It actually feels really good to get a diagnosis! Like most I have googled so much, joined a few FB groups and tried to find other woman the same which I did not realise how many out there have it! 😱 Which the reason why I wanted to share my experience.

My goals are varied this time around I have a few different goals which aren't just about weight loss which I will pen down now and share in my next post!!

I'm looking forward to sharing everything! Hopefully someone out there can read this and get a little bit of hope and positivity from my progress :)

What a fun way to end the week! It's true when they say its the happiest 5k

Today was finally the day :) Home time after 7 days in hospital again :) Happy eager beavers we were!!

I had also booked in to do a workshop today a few weeks ago with my buddy Tania it was an obstacle course training workshop I'm really glad I did now despite my kids getting out of hospital today and having to rush to get ready! I really needed it! It was a bit of a breather :) A little distraction from everything in the past week.

There were rope climbs, monkey bars, spear throwing and walls to get over. We also learnt different techniques for conquering obstacle in events like spartan. It was well worth it!

Thanks Tania for being such a great buddy ❤💪

Monday my Mornings Show appearance!! Probably the hardest thing I've had to do!!! Yikes! Being on a live tv show! Me?! that's usually pretty quiet!! Really disliked being infront of people! Never have celebrated my birthday in a big way for that reason, I'm the kinda girl that has always wanted tiny wedding just for the fact I'm not comfortable being in the spot light and dreaded standing up infront of the class for speeches! Nervous wreck! Then there is that old memory of being teased about the way that i spoke :/ Hope you get my drift now!

So for me this was a huge accomplishment!! It was my kind of facing your fears!!!

I'm so glad I didn't freeze up and words actually came out of my mouth! I wasn't perfect but on a positive note I think it's safe to say fear conquered!!! Great experience :) and I'm proud of myself despite finding it hard to re watch it!

Thanks to everyone that has been so encouraging this week! Has meant alot! :) Look I even got a tweet back off Michelle Bridges and 12WBT!! :)

Then it I was off to an appointment for my daughters first hair cut!! She has the longest hair and had been asking to cut it like Dora for the longest time!! So we decided to donate her hair to kids with cancer! Something I knew adults could do but I didn't know until recently kids could do it too!! So wanted to add it in this blog post incase other mums out there didn't know and were thinking of cutting there girls hair instead of it going to the bin why not donate it! Great cause!

My weekly routine has quickly come to a stop the folloing day Tuesday we were back in hospital this time with my son and daughter! My boy went home last night just left with my daughter now, hoping we get to go home tomorrow so we can enjoy the long weekend! She is doing much better! Scared us this time! But thankfully she didn't get worse and improved. Now that she is off the drip and oxygen we have been wondering around the ward and garden to stay occupied. When she starts getting active again we get pretty over it quickly! So have to find ways to stay distracted!! Missing my bed going on to the fourth night here. Can't complain though she is safe here an everyone is great! Looking forward to getting back to reality and into routine again :)

Warrior Dash on Saturday with my friend Amy which was awesome, we have been on our weighloss journeys together!! She has been there from the start we constantly email/text each other! Have been gym buddies before and good friends for almost 5 years now! But we had never participated in an event together!! So I was pretty excited :)

It was so great to push each other, get through the obstacles and all the running!! I have to admit she did alot of pushing and encouraging! I got my first bit of anxiety in a long time! To many things on my mind lately! Thank goodness I didn't have a panic attack just had to work on controlling myself! We did pretty amazing! All worked out great in the end! It felt awesome!!

Now got to think of the next thing to sign up for! Love these kind of challenges! Leaves me buzzing knowing what I've accomplished!

On Sunday I volunteered in the Mother's Day Classic 12WBT Stall in the Domain, Sydney.

It was such a great day! There were 12WBT Magazine handouts, free massages (Yes I had one!) ;), 12WBT - Train Hard - Eat Clean wrist bands and free fruit :)

We spoke about our transformations and encouraged people that were interested in Michelle Bridges 12 Week Body Transformation and also raised money for breast cancer research.

Great day with amazing woman!
